I had high hopes for this product because I loved Dr. I will continue to use this eye gel until I can find something fairly clean, ingredient-wise, that will zap my puffiness better, and maybe still have the optical diffuser that I like in this product.

It did do a good job of moisturizing the eye area and I noticed that the bonus optical diffusers gave the skin above the eye a luminous quality which opened the eyes up for a more youthful look.

I tested the product for the full 45 days since I wasn’t seeing much tightening under the eye at 30 days. I applied it under the eyes and above the orbital bone on a cleaned and toned face two times a day. The gel is not really a gel, it’s a cream.
DDG’s has way less and is much cleaner though it does still have phenoxyethanol in it…so not 100% natural. Alastin has too many added chemicals that I don’t want in my body. I can’t say it has done as well as the old product I was using (Alastin Skincare from my aesthetician’s office).
Dennis Gross Hyaluronic Marine Dew It All Eye Gel ($48 in the shop) would do it all and handle my puffiness by reducing the water retention under the surface, like it said it would do, and firm the skin under the eye. I don’t get dark circles under my eyes, so I can’t comment on the product’s effectiveness in that regard, but I do battle with puffiness, especially, but not exclusively, in the morning.
My biggest concerns are the loss of fat, collagen and elastin in my face which is causing my skin to lose tone and start sagging. My skin is not particularly dry elsewhere, so I don’t have any fine lines on my face or around my eyes. Bonus optical diffusers immediately boost luminosity.As for me, the reviewer… I’m 69 and I still have an oily t-zone.
